The History
Built somewhere around 1750, the building was home to the first bank of Lincolnshire, established by Sir William Garfits. It operated from these premises until the bank moved into the town centre, later becoming Lloyds Bank in 1891. The apartment was thought to be Sir William Garfits private premises away from home. The Grounds and building took on major renovations in 2012, where the building was completely restored back to its orginal status, and a true staple of the High Street in Boston.
